Collegecollegecollege applications. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY?

I have this strange, melancholy feeling in my stomach & my head pounds too-full of memories.
Why did they leave? Is it forever?

Yesterday I dressed like a pumpkin & today I was Hermione Granger-esque...hmmmmm...

Maybe that was shallow & strange after my deep musings, but I don't really mind.

My hair is extra soft & stuff because I just got it trimmed after 4 months of it being dead. I am so happy & I love it!

Also, we have super delicious, Xtremely chocolaty-chip cookies which I am about to eat with a cold glass of milk while I edit the final draft of my essay.

And yes, I do drink 1%. And yes, it is because I think I am a little chubby.

Sometimes life just hurts. I wish everyone could understand how much God loves them without the ugly arguments & debates that really mean nothing.

I don't know where I would be without Jesus Christ.

I want to be an honest & real example of how I have been changed by His love & grace.

I guess that stepping out of your comfort zone is a good thing, but today I just felt like a fool.

School makes me feel like I am falling apart; pulled layer by layer into a person I don't want to be.

Being honest just seems really scary, especially because I don't know who will see my honesty.
& I don't know what they will think.

Pizza dinner at 8:00 seems like a summertime thing to do, but today felt like the first real day of winter/fall. Grey skies all day with not even a hint of sunshine.

aweoifdslkdjflwkee, so yeah.

Also, I met my BFF's new Sheltie puppy named Juliet (Psych reference, yahooo!). She had just recently opened her eyes.

Strawberry shortcake

So I made some strawberry shortcake & it was delicious.

I survived the first three days of school despite the +90 degree temperature in every classroom & having to talk to people all the time & think about things all the time & learn stuff.

& choir...there are no words...
except I love it.
holy wowza I love it a lot.

I had a pasta picnic & many hours of chitchat with Melissa.

I had frozen yogurt/sorbet with Daniel.

Life is pretty much a wonderful thing.

An End of Summer Picnic

The last night of summer, not based on the calender but based on my freedom level, was Tuesday night. I worked from 4-7 and then met my family at Riverfront Park for a picnic I had prepared earlier. It was the perfect temperature & the perfect picnic spot. We even got to have a lovely chat with a bicycling Policeman (just casual of course, no crimes were committed.)!

Value Village

Value Village is the greatest of all stores. Ever.
Where else would you find a Michael Jackson cassette & a mustard yellow blazer & a pair of gold heart earrings for under $8.00?
Spending time with Hannah was pretty fantastic too!

some thrifted earrings (always sanitized, of course!)
